Archibald Kingsley on Ten Billion, both winners in last week’s Casanova Cup Race, will challenge each other and the rest of the BenVenue field, Also running will be Robert Green, Tommy Jones and John A. Hughes on Twig. With this strong entry, the race will be sent off in two divisions. The Pair Race for teams of two members of recognized hunts, is scheduled as the opening race. Starting time: 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March T. The eighth and last race is a drag race for houndfe. It is programmed for 4:00p.m.and shows 41 entries to date. The public is invited to come to the races and enjoy a day of country fun in Rappahannock.
HD Basic Knitting Class
Another class in Basic Knitting, sponsored by the Home Demonstration Club and Arts and Crafts Project will start February 29 at the home of the instructor Mrs.MaryCleverley in Flint Hill. Classes are from 7 to 9 p.m. Those receiving Junior Certificates at the finish of the last class on February 21 were Beverley Sue and Barbara Marie Foster and Raye Rector.
