The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Glaenzer spent Sunday night in the Washington, D.C. area, where Mr. Glaenzer conducted the funeral services on Monday for a friend, John McCarthy, with whom he had served in the Army prior to WW II, and who after his retirement from the Metropolitan Police Department, served with the State Department in Vietnam where he was killed by a sniper.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Burke are in residence at their home, the former home of Mrs. Della Jenkins Partlow on Blue Ridge Avenue. The' Burkes are natives of Sperry-, ville but have lived in Red! Bank, N. J. for the past 17! years where Mr. Burke re-: cently retired from the1 thoroughbred horse business. Last Sunday guests of the Misses Ludwig and Munn at Highlands were Mrs. Harriet Zangy and Mr. and ! Mrs. William Beck of Arlington. Mrs. Zangy is leaving in ' March for Paris.
