Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jenkins spent a few days in Arlington last week visiting Mr and Mrs. Leedy Pullen anc family. Mrs. Jenkins is receiving congratulations on the birth of her second greatgrandchild born to Mrs. Ronnie Minnix of Arlington. Mr. and Mrs. Charles May spent one day in Richmond last week.
Washington Bridge Club
Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr. entertained the Washington Bridge Club and guests Thursday evening at her home on Gay Street. Her guests were Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. Henry M. Keyset', Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. F. W. Spalding, Mrs. Carroll Quaintancej Mrs. Mary M. Quaintance, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Jr., Mrs. L. A. McNear and Miss Jerene Truitt. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Palmer, Miss Truitt, Mrs. Turner and Mrs. McNear. The George Washington Birthday motif was tastefully carried out in decoration with of course, cherry pie for refreshments.
