What makes this record even more boastful there are 79 Angus on test at Culpeper from twenty-nine different herds! At Dublin 43 Angus bulls were included in the test and this animal tops all 122 head. The sire of both of these animals is a bull Mr. Johnson purchased from the University of Tennessee. The twenty calves he sired in 1967 had an adjusted daily gain of 2.05, typed 13 and indexed 129.
