David Sisk of Sperryvillc is an example of what can be accomplished through the dollars which are contributed each year to various funds. David underwent heart surgery when he was four years old. He had a plastic valve inserted in his heart. The operation was performed at the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, and was arranged and financed by the Crippled Children’s Bureau. Years of medical research have made many things possible. David, now eleven, is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Sisk.
