A Horse Show, with all the necessary events and entertainment to attract both rider7 and spectator, is being planned as an important spring classic by the Amissville Rurt tans. Following a fine dinner served by the club member’s wives last Wednesday, Chairtnan W. Allen Cooper was call ed upon by President R. B. Settle to give the report of the Horse Show Committee. The information wasenthusias tically received and a date set for Saturday, April 20th with a "rain date" of April 27. While the ring location has not been fully determined, all those interested in forming classes or feature riding should contact Mr. Cooper, telephone 825-1114. Another project, the annual Ham and Turkey Dinner, was scheduled for April 6th. at Amissville fire hall. The Chairman of the Finance Committee, Charlie Priest announced that they are preparing for a larger number of guests this year and that adequate ham and turkey will be served all comers. The president extended the Club’s welcome to four visitors: Ches Sanders and Armsted Wine of the Marshall Rurltan Club, Ted Settle of Viewtown and Michael Sheele of Amissville.
