Entries Still Needed
Entries for the third annual Jaycee Beauty Pageant are still needed,' particularly in the older age group. Young ladies in this group are urged to sign up as candidates and may do so at Rappahannock County High School or by contacting pageant chairman, Jim Willis at Sperryville. Do not hesitate to sign up though you might not have a sponsor for there are sponsors available who wish candidates. Entries may also be submitted to air.y Jaycee member. The Beauty Pageant is scheduled for Friday night, April 19 at the local high school, and begins at 8 p.m. A rehearsal will be held on Thursday, the day before the pageant and will take place at the high school at 7:30 p.m. Prizes are awarded in all groups, but the older age group will have an opportunity to acquire a scholarship toward future education in addition to a $50 cash prize.
