James. Guests were introduced by Mr. Rowzie and included L. H. Luttrell, Jackson District member Board of Supervisors, Fire Warden Raymond Johnson, Troopers W. A. Buntin and J. B. Willis L. B. Dulin and Murphy Hoff iman of Culpeper and Buster Briddle, Warrenton, to name a few. Entertainment was provided by a combo of young men from the area, The Knightsmen, composed of Arthur Pullen, Jr., Doug Larimer, Ronald Dodson, A1 H a r r up , Carl James and David James. This was an extremely talented group. Mrs. Franklin Williams, pro sented the $15,00 check to the fire company, on behalf of the Ladies Auxiliary. Roger Cordani gave the Junior firemen’s check to the chief. The Rev. Charles Glaenzer, minister of Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington, Va., was guest speaker. His topic centered around the thought that the chief can’t fight our fires alone. He applied the word ‘■fires1’ to our everyday activities and interests including schools, county government, etc., emphasizing that these things are every ones business and should be dealt with by everyone. After a special word of appreciation to the ladies for the elegant dinner, the Rev. W. A. Layman gave the benediction.
