The Amissville Fire Department was feted with a banquet Friday evenirtg at the fire hall. This was the. fifteenth annual banquet giVeft thG <S<Smf>any By the Amissville Ladies Auxiliary and was attended by about 125 firemen, andguests. The department was presented a check for $1,500 by thi£ auxiliary and a $50 check from the Junior firemen. Ralph Rowzle wal toastmaster for the dinner and emceed the progrlm in his usual form. The program began with the grcrtip singing "America* followed by the invocation given by the Rev. Charles Kindred, Chaplain of the fire company and minister of Amissville Baptist Church.
