In General
Adopt a new regulation to be numbered R 28-1.1 as follows:
On and after October one, nineteen hundred sixty-eight, each life preserver required by Code of Virginia S 62.1-196 to be provided by persons regularly offering boats other than motorboats for rent shall be of a tvne manufactured in accordance with specifications established by the Commandant, United States Coast Guard, shall be in good and serviceable condition, and shall bear legible original manufacturer’s marking or label showing United States Coast Guard Approval number for such device.
CHAPTER 29. Motorboat
Numbering
Amend Regulation R 29-2 to read as follows:
The certificate of number for a motorboat shall show the following: the name and address of owner, number issued, make, hull material, type of propulsion, length overall, use and expiration date.
