Flint Hill Child
Struck by Truck
A six-year-old Flint Hill child sustained injuries when she was struck by a truck last Thursday, as she ran into the street in front of her home. Virgie Mae Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Foster, remains a patient in Warren Memorial Hospital with a fractured wrist, concussion and abrasions of the right forehead and shoulder. Her condition is reported as improving, according to her mother.
No charges were placed against Richard Carl Baker of Winchester who was driving the 1951 Chevrolet truck which struck the little girl. Hie truck was owned by John M. Baker of Winchester.
Trooper R. M. Dodson investigated the accident.
