Lawn Party Saturday
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore of Castleton entertained with a lawn party Saturday afternoon in honor of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Crooks of San Antonio, Texas who were their guests last week. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gore and sons Joe and Gary of Indian Head, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gore and daughters Linda and Debbie of Fairfax, Ennis Gore of Falls Church, Janet, Pamela, Carolyn and Steve Gore, Mrs. Myrtle Clark and son Woodie and Mrs. Jean Bennett, all of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. Menefee Utz, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mallory and children Steve and Ben, all of Castleton.
Ricky Gore returned to Texas with his sister, Mrs. Crooks to spend two weeks and attend the Hemisfair while there.

Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr. were joint hostesses at a Dessert Bridge party Tuesday evening, July 23, at the home of Mrs. Johnston on Gay Street. Their guests were Mrs. Mary B. Quaintance, Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. William Wake, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. E. M. Jones, Mrs. Fred Schaefer, Mrs. R. E. Wood, Mrs. Ralph Styer, and Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt.
Also Mrs. George H. Davis, Jr., Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. Aubrey H. Keyser, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. F. ,W. Spalding, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., and Mrs. Henry M. Keyser. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Quaintance, Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. ^Vake, Mrs. H. L. Smith and Mrs. Jones.
