Bachelor of Divinity degree was | conferred by Virginia Ideological , Seminary. He pursued post ’ graduate work in subsequent , years at Virginia Theological Seminary at The University of the , South, as well as graduate study , at St. Augustine’s College in j Canterbury, England. His Master . of Sacred Theology degree was conferred by Virginia Theological Seminary in 1963. I
His impressive military service included active duty June 1943 , to January 1946, serving as platoon leader and company , commander in the 23rd Marines, j Fourth Marine Division. He had . combat experience at Iwo Jima t and was awarded the Bronze Star, ( Purple Heart, Letter of , Commendation and a Presidential j Unit Citation. His highest rank on ( active duty was First Lieutenant. ,

I’ve even been known to collect Johnson grass seed. ******** We have just been advised that the state has discontinued furnishing veterinarians with Brucellosis vaccine to vaccinate calves from 3 to 8 months of age. Even though the vaccine is not furnished, we recommend that ~ you continue to vaccinate. When you have • calves to vaccinate, call your veterinarian, as request for vaccinations will no longer be scheduled through the Extension Office.
