Mrs. Alice Dorsey Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins and family gave a birthday dinner Sunday, July 28, honoring Mrs. Jenkins’ mother, Mrs. Vennie Dodson of Manassas.
Guests included Miss Barbara Dodson, Mr. and Mrs. Henry B. Atkins and daughter, Sharon, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby H. Jenkins and daughter Brenda, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Dodson and children of Manassas, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Foster and sons of Hamilton, Mr. and Mrs. William Dodson and son Bryant of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. Freddie Dodson and daughter Cheryl of Culpeper.
Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey and son Duane Dibble returned home Sunday evening after spending several days in the Finger Lakes section of New York state. They visited Mrs. Dorsey’s mother Mrs. Edith S. Myer of Willard and her brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur C. Myer of Geneva, N.Y. Others visited were Mrs. Leon Dibble of Geneva, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Buckholts and Kenneth Myer, all of Ovid, N.Y. and Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Frost of Interlaken.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gaines of Falls Church were Saturday dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Gaines. Sunday morning their son John Gaines of Sperryville entered Culpeper
