Mrs. Della June Wharton

A funeral service for Mrs. Dellj June Wharton, 43, of Washington Va., widow of Thomas Wharton was held Sunday at 2 p.m. al Washington Baptist Church tttthe Rev. James Adkins officiating. Burial wasir Washington Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Wharton died Friday August 2, 1968 at her residence following a recent illness. She was born in Washington Rappahannock County, daughtei of Mrs. Annie Belle Wright Smooi and the late Jacob Edwarc Smoot.

Besides her mother, she it survived by two daughters, Mrs Peggy Jean Henry of Front Roya and Mrs. Betty Joan Woodard o Washington; three sisters, Mrs Reva Mae Woodard, Mrs. Helei Virginia Smoot and Mrs. Ann; Elizabeth Clatterbuck, all o Amissville and thre grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jpnas Althei Jonas Jenkins, Harold Este* Everett Estes, Roy Clatterbuc and J. W. Clatterbuck.
