The Berkeley Springs Chorale of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia with Fay Finlay Shaw as director will present the musical setting for the evening service. Leader for this service is the Rev. O. L. Martin, pastor of Luray Christian Parish. Assistant Leader at this service is the Rev. Curtis P. Coffman, pastof of Leakes Chapel Church of the Brethren, Luray.
Dr. Bowman was born at Dayton, Virginia and received his early schooling there. He graduated from Bridgewater College with the BA degree in 1920. At the University of Chicago he earned his Master’s' degree two years later, and hisl Doctor of Philosophy degree inf 1930. He taught at State Teachersl College, now Longwood College,! from 1923 to 1930. He was head! of the Department of Education and Psychology at Junita College, Huntington, Penna. from 1930 to 1937. He also taught in summer schools of George Peabody College for Teachers in Nashville;1
Emory University in Georgia;]
Duke University in North^ Carolina, and the University ofi Virginia. \
