Mrs. L. J. Turner returned home Friday from a ten day visit with Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst in Richmond and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Pharr in Newport News. Accompanied by Mrs. Pharr, Mrs. Turner visited her son and daughter-in-law and family at Chapel Hill, N. C.
The Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton and son Edward of Springfield were visitors Wednesday and Thursday of last week of their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Moffett, Jr. at their home on Gay Street.
Mrs. William Litsey and 3 grandsons of Hampton were guests from Friday until Wednesday of her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith at Spring House Farm. Mrs. Litsey’s daughter Mrs. Millard Pedersen joined them on Monday for a two day visit. Mrs. Douglas Janney of Fredericksburg was a weekend guest of the Smiths.
