Dedication ceremonies for C&P’s new communication center will he held Wednesday, September 18, at 11 a.m. F. Wayne Dementi, local manager, stated that the ceremony will be held at the building site which is located on the old Latham Property in Culpeper at the intersection of Piedmont Street and Brandy Road. Events will culminate a lengthy construction period as well as a total investment of $4'i million. The new center will provide the area which includes Madison, Criglersville, and Sperryville, with direct distance dialing, optional touch-tone service to its 825 customers, and many other features of today’s modem communications system.
This ceremony will precede the actual conversion which will take place in the autumn of this year.
The C & P employees cordially invite all of their customers and friends to attend the September ceremony.
