Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Settle and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and their families spent Sunday on a picnic at Manassas Battlefield.

Mrs. David Streagle and son Marc and Susan Latham were dinner guests Monday evening of Miss Louise Anderson in Culpeper. Shannon Streagle is spending some time with Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Kephart in Herndon. Mrs. Streagle left Wednesday morning for Parris Island. S. C. for a few days prior to moving there in the near future. During her absence Marc is visiting his uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton Williams at Dahlgren. Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey spent five days last week in North Carolina and Tennessee where they visited friends and relatives, visited in Gatlinburg and Cherokee and returned home by way of the Great Smokey Mountains. Sunday they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar La Palnche in Baltimore, Md.
