Mrs. Ruth J. Keyser
Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater was an overnight guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller. Mr. Miller’s brother-in-law and sister Gen. and Mrs. Lommis Booth, recently of Athens, Greece arrived Wednesday for a visit at Mt. Prospect.
The first birthday of Aney Melissa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie, was celebrated Sunday at her home. Present were Dr. and Mrs. C. F. Melton of Dillwyn, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Fisher of Rochelle, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Modisett of Harrisonburg, Mr. and Mrs. George O’Mara of Richmond, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. W. H. Massie, III, Mary Brooke and Nancy Massie, Mrs. James F. Massie and Sarah Massie, Mrs. W. G. Eastham, and Lizzie and Marian Eastham.
Mr. and Mrs. James F. Massie, Mrs. W. G. Eastham and Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. were visitors Monday in Charlottesville.
Mrs. Jessie Rowzie returned to her home Friday from the Winchester Memorial Hospital. Miss Annie Cooksey remains a patient there. Miss Annie Miller Almond has returned home from a three week’s trip by plane to Hawaii and California. The Hawaiian tour was sponsored by the National Retired Teacher’s Association and the American Association of Retired People. Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Simpson and Miss Polly Anne Simpson in Luray. Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller were visitors Saturday of Miss Belle Strother at the Lynn Care Centre and Mrs. Dan Price who is a surgical patient at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. Dr. Gordon Lindenblad and son Eric of Upper Saddle River, N. J. were Friday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect.
