A funeral service for Mrs. Jessie Inez Jenkins; 71, of Sperryville was held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church at Sperryville. The Rev. William A. Harrison and the Rev. Maxwell Butler officiated. Burial was in Sperryville Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins, wife of Clarence Leonard Jenkins, died Sunday, Sept. 29, 1968 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital following a recent illness. She was a native of Rappahannock County, daughter of the late George B. Jenkins and the late Mary Sisk Jenkins.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Ivan Jenkins of Alexandria; seven daughters, Mrs. James Chesgreen of Gambrill, Md., Mrs. Calvin Watters, Mrs. John Payst and Mrs. Eddie Reel, all of Laurel, Md., Mrs. Mabel Deal of Sperryville, Mrs. Larry Shepherd of Washington, Va., and Mrs. Samuel Enstminger of Falls Church. Also one sister, Mrs. Fannie Fincham of Vienna; 21 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were James W. Fletcher, John P. Snead, Jr., Chester Jenkins, Frank Jenkins, Paul Kems, Lester Jenkins and Cornelius Jenkins.
