Since I’ve been asked to write something about the tours I have been fortunate enough to have had recently,. I am beginning by telling how th& Hawaiian Tour was brought to my attention. Someone niaybenefit from this knowledge. This was a well organized tour and there were no worries for us. The itinerary was planned and carried out by these Associations.
As a teacher, I belonged to the National Teacher’s Association. When I retired I joined the National Retired Teacher’s Association (NRTA). In one of my National magazines I saw an ad for a book of Tours arranged by the NRTA and AARP Mnwrlcagi Association for raflred^isfihsj. Triis “book of Tours was for people over 55 years of age who belonged to either of these associations. To be a member of the NRTA is only two dollars per year. I do not know the dues for AARP.
I sent for the book and saw the itinerary for the Hawaiian Tour. This was early spring. I asked for May. I received a letter saying all tours had been filled until Sept. 4 and there is one of these every week throughout the entire year.
