Amidst the fall foliage of Rappahannock County with the Blue Ridge for a back drop, The Rappahannock Hunt will sponsor i Benefit Fashion Show and High rea on October 11th at 3:00 p.m. >t “The Shade”, country home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Summers in Washington, Virginia. Where Confederate soldiers were once billeted will walk lovely models in the very latest fashions from Julius Garfinckel and Company of Washington. D.C. The commentary, to be ipven by Mrs. Ruey S. Messenger, Director of Public Relations and Fashion, Garfinckels and Company, will also be interjected with bits of the historical background of “The Shade”
The public is cordially invited to attend. Tickets at $3.00 each may be obtained by writing Mrs. James Massie, Meadow Grove, Amissville, Virginia or purchased at the gate the day of the show.
