Mrs. John Metzger of Lorton was a luncheon guest last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke. Their Sunday guests were their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ashton Burke of Warrenton.

Mrs. Myrtle Beahm Watkins who had been visiting relatives and friends in Virginia and Washington, D. C. for several weeks left Thursday by plane from Washington for her home in Wenatchee, Washington. Mrs. Watkins is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Beahm of Sperryville. Mrs. R. C. Larson and Mrs. L. T. Callahan of Manor Club, Md. spent Tuesday with Mrs. Callahan’s parents Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall at Rose Hill. Ned Moffett Jones spent the week-end at his home. Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jon es attended th< University of Virginia-University of South Carolina football game Saturday in Charlottesville.

Mrs. James Johnson left Sunday for a two weeks visit with her mother in Albany, Ga.

Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Miller visited iMisrJBtaJle Strother.Sunday at the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal and helped Miss Strother celebrate her 89th birthday.

Scott and Spencer Middleton of Warrenton were the week-end guests of Brooke Miller at his home The Maples.

Mrs. Henry M. Keyser was the luncheon guest Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinland.

Mrs. Clarence Giles has been a patient the past week at the Winchester Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Stanley Rowland of Falls Church was the luncheon guest Wednesday of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher.

Mrs. Kent Woolfolk and Earl Crank of Louisa were callers Sunday of Miss Irene Keyser at Sunnyside and Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Keyser at Hie Oaks.

Airman David Palmer of the Naval Air Station, Oceana, spent the week-end with his parents Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer.

Mrs. F. Downing Wood, Miss Mary Miller Wood and J. D. Keyser were in New York Sunday to attend a Memorial Service for Mrs. Wood’s brother C. G. Reid, Jr.
