Joseph Shelton Grimsley, 65, >f Flint Hill died November 5, L968 at his residence. He was a armer, the son of the late Villiam Shelton Grimsley and Eva dason Grimsley. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. ituth Bancroft Grimsley and two laughters, Rachael Bancroft 3rimsley and Eva Drake jtrimsley, all of the home address; ind a brother, Norman Grimsley >f Castleton. A graveside service will be held it 2 p.m. today, Thursday at the iVoodville Cemetery with the [lev. Edward Pruitt officiating. Geest Funeral Parlors are in :harge of arrangements.
Mrs. Silas D. Miller
Funeral services were held Saturday at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper for drs. Olive Frances Thornton diller, 68, of Culpeper. The Rev. daurice duCastillion officiated, ind burial was in Fairview Demetery. The widow of the late Silas D. diller, Mrs. Miller died Thursday, Dctober 31, 1968, in Gainesville, Fla. Survivors include a son, Dr. lohn L. Miller of Culpeper, one laughter, Mrs. Frances Tolbert of jiainesville, Fla.; two brothers, lohn S. Thornton of Culpeper ind James B. Thornton of Richmond; a sister, Miss Susan S. Thornton of Culpeper, two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Miller lived almost all her life in Culpeper. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her parents were the late Judge Lee Thornton and Louise Rightor Thornton.
