SSgt. David W. Streagle has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal for meritorious service. The presentation was made October 8 at the United States Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S. C. by Maj. Gen. Ormond Simpson, Depot commanding general.
He received the medal for his meritorious service while serving as an Intelligence Analysis with the G-2 Section, Headquarters, 3rd Marine Amphibious Force from June 1967 to July 1968 in Vietnam.
