Eilene Lillard of Madison College spent the weekend with her family the Robert Lillards. We are delighted to see Bob Deal up and getting around again after a recent accident. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Revercomb and daughter Ginger were visitors in the community last Saturday evening. Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and daughter Susan, Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Miss Linda Lohr of near Orange were in Charlottesville on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones were in Victoria, Saturday to attend the funeral of Mr. Jones’ brother, Dewey Jones. Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Otis Jones of Maryland and Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Deal and little daughter of Culpeper. ^
Homer Jenkins has returned home after being a patient in Newton Baker Hospital in West Virginia. Dick Finks has been on the sick list. He has made several trips to Univefsity of Virginia Hospital for x-rays and tests.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry W. Gallihugh were in Richmond recently when Mr. Gallihugh was at McGuire VA hospital for his regular 6 weeks checkup.
Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fincham on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jenkins and children Shelia,Charles and Debbie Jenkins of Sperryville and George Jenkins.
Upton Weakley Of Culpeper visited the Harry Gallihugh’s and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley on Sunday.
Quite a few in the community have been in with the flu or sick including Mr. and Mrs. Harry Deal, Mrs. Billy Campbell and son Chris, Mrs. Harry Gallihugh and Mr. and Mrs. Watts Weakley.
