Notice Mailed

Farm program notices listing individual farm allotments, base acreages, yields, and payment rates under the 1969 wheat and feed grain programs have been mailed to producers in Rappahannock County, according to H. S. Barksdale, Chairman, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee.

'['his information will enable farmers to decide whether they want to take part in the programs and to plan the extent of their participation. Program benefits include price-support loans and payments and diversion payments.

If a producer believes that a commodity yield, the wheat allotment, a feed grain base, rate, or the conserving base shown on the notice for his farm is incorrect, he may ask the county committee to reconsider the matter. Requests for reconsideration should be made m writing and mailed or delivered to the county committee within lf> days from* the mailing date shown on the notice.

To take part in the programs, the farm operator first files his intentions on an application form at the ASCS county office during the signup period. Signup begins from February 3 and extends through March 21.
