In Memoriam
In sad but loving remembrance of my dear son, Joseph- H. Aylor, who departed this life three years ago, February 13, 1966. Three years ago, today, the Lord took you away, you suffered hours, yes, hours of pain but in vain. Three years have passed, one heart is still sore. As time goes by I miss you more, your memory is as fresh today as in the hour you were taken away. Dear Joe, how I miss you. None but God will ever know. If tears and sighs would bring you back, you would have been here long ago.
Some may think I am not lonely, when at times they see me smile. Little do they know the heartaches that I suffer all the while. And when the evening shades are falling, and I sit all alone, To my heart comes the longing, dear Joe, if you could come home.
