Herbert Foster accompanied by L. V. Merrill of Washington left Sunday to attend the Virginia Horticultural Society meeting in Roanoke, and returned on Wednesday. Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Foster were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Nalls of Amissville, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin and four sons of Annandale and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Foster.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck and son Sammy were visitors Sunday of Mrs. Clatterbuck’s mother Mrs. Robert Miller at Hamilton and of her sister Mrs. Floyd L. Roberts of Purcellville.
