Dear Mrs. Latham:
Thank you for the publicity you gave the 1969 Cancer Crusade in the Rappahannock News. Your support helped us reach our goal.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the residents of Rappahannock County for their contributions. Fund raising is not easy.
Special appreciation goes to my Co-Chairman, Mrs. Robert Anderson, for her excellent co-operation, and to the Captain of each district:

Mrs. Lee Thomton and Miss Judy Burtner presented movies on the danger of smoking to classes at both the Elementary School and the Rappahannock County High School. I would like to publicly thank Mrs. Mary Quaintance and Mr. Dennis Wingfield for their assistance.
It took over fifty workers to canvass the County. I appreciate their efforts.
