Can she bake an apple pie? ~ They surely can. These home ec students at Rappahannock County High School participated in the annual apple pie baking contest held last Thursday at the school. They are, seated, Janet Burke, Margie Cannon and Doris Fletcher; standing, Donna Dwyer, Lucy Jackson, Ginger Estes, Charlotte Printz, Beverly Stringfellow, Janet Smith, Geraldine Settle, Nancy Sheffield, Marsh Berry, Joan Welch, Kay Williams, Jo Ann Dorrin and Arenita Gatewood. The proof is on the table in the form of steaming, spicy pies. Charlotte Printz was the winner and today is competing at the apple pie baking contest which is being held in Winchester in connection with the annual Apple Blossom Festival there.
