Elects Officers
The Rappahannock Chapter American Cancer Society elected officers at its meeting held July 8 at the courthouse in Washington. Elected to the office of president was Ian Pryde and Mrs. Harold Seoggin was named to the vice presidency. Both are of Washington. Mrs. Frances Thornton of Sperryville was named secretary and Mrs. James F. Massie of Amissville retained the office of treasurer. Mrs. Roberta Spalding of Flint Hill is chairman of the Memorial Fund and Mrs. Paul Miller, also of Flint Hill was the chairman of the nominating committee. Crusade chairman for the coming year will be Mrs. Roberta Anderson of Woodville.
