Our pastor inferred last Sunday that during the Summer months congregations have a tendency to forget the church, and become lax in the support of same. This thought came to my mind, what if God should take a vacation. Let’s suppose He took a fifteen day vacation. Can your mind grasp the horrors of just two weeks without God? What if the planets stopped turning in their orbits and we were facing the sun. That is too horrible to contemplate.
1 don’t think God is going to lay down on the job just because a few of His creatures do. 1 do think, and know, that when you fail to attend your church you have missed a blessing.
