Tony and Greg Wayland, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland of Sperry ville, were at the Sperryville carnival grounds Tuesday to check the scene for the opening last night of the annual firemens carnival. They tried the rides for size and paid a visit to the popcorn man who was setting up his booth. The carnival continues through Saturday night. A large parade is scheduled for tonight, Thursday, beginning at 7 p.m.
