In accepting the nomination for t the House of Delegates, Mr. Gibb < said, “I am flattered and honored i to receive the Democratic ( nomination for the Virginia House of Delegates for the 28th . District to succeed Tom Frost. t

I was shocked and saddened by Tom’s untimely death. Besides being my wife’s first cousin Tom has been my close, personal friend for more than thrity years. ; Not only is his passing a great loss to me but Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren Counties and the entire State have lost a most dedicated and loyal friend and representative. If elected I hope to give our District [the same energetic, honest and faithful service given by Tom.

I believe that the wonderful people of Fauquier, Rappahannock and Warren will realize the magnitude and difficulty of the task that lies ahead of me due to the short period of time before the election on November 4. Therefore, I humbly ask and need the personal and dedicated support of all the voters within the District.” f — ■ —
