There will be a District Meeting for the teachers this Saturday at the Stonewall Jackson High School. This meeting is designed for the teachers to share their ideas and problems.
The cheerleaders have started their practice for this season. Let’s help the cheerleaders build up our school spirit, this year. Let’s help them to make our team the Number One.
This week I would like to interview Gail Updike and Terry Russell. Gail plans to go to Lynchburg College. Gail is an alternate cheerleader, Home Room Representative, and the Ad Manager of the Annual Staff.
Terry plans to go to William and Mary College. Terry is the SCA President, Secretary of the FBLA, and is on the Annual Staff.
Instructor's Course
Mrs. Bertha Armel is attending an Instructors Course in First Aid each night this week in Madison conducted by the American Red Cross and Federal Civil Defense Administration. Mrs. Armel expects to teach a course in Standard and Advanced First Aid in October.
