Mr. and Mrs. Smith who were enroute to Roanoke was accompanied there by Mrs. Hurt who returned home Monday. I rMiss Mildred B. Setcher was 9 guest during the weekend of Mrs. W. M. Fletcher who accompanied her when she returned to Richmond for a visit of several days.
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas P. Tupper and three children moved last week to their new home, the former John Peyton Snead property on Mt. Salem Avenue.

Leroy Hall of Camilla, Ga. arrived last Tuesday for a week’s visit with Mrs. F. Downing Wood at Sunnyside. On Saturday they visited Mrs. Wood’s daughter, Miss Frances Wood at her school in Staunton.
Capt. William Weiner of Bridgewater was an overnight guest Monday and Wednesday nights of Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect.
