“He that ascends to the mountain top, has a better view of the plain.” A few days ago a friend and I were walking along the crest of 1 Hazel Mountain. He stopped suddenly and asked me about a , lake he had seen. I told him there were no lakes down in the valley below, that is Jenkins Hollow. Upon his insistence I looked to where he was pointing. Sure i enough, there was a lake. But, we were looking over a small mountain into the F.T. Valley. As I thought of the physical aspects of height giving you a . greater vision, this thought came to me; how about spiritual heights. It is possible to have such i a ‘mountain top’ experience that : one can overlook the small, I mundane things that so beset us i at times. Transient worldly values lose their importance when the spirit holds full sway in our lives. I We cannot live on the mountain always, we can let the joy we have known sustain us when we , walk in the valley. Be happy in the knowledge that you DO NOT WALK ALONE.
