Ernest Lloyd Dodson
A funeral service for Emest Lloyd Dodson of Nethers was held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Geest Funeral Chapel, Culpeper, with burial in Etlan Cemetery. Mr. Dodson, a retired farmer, died Nov. 12, 1969, at Shawneee Spring Nursing Home in Winchester at the age of 100.
He was a native of Rappahannock County, son of the late Lloyd and Sallie Dodson. His wife, Ida Ellen Dodson, died in 1963.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Florida Monroe of Middleburg, Mrs. Hazel Hamilton and Mrs. Merle Juiffre, both of Silver Spring, Md., Mrs. Eddie Burke of Boston, Va., and Mrs. Emma Sisk of Gainesville; four sons, Clyde Dodson of Silver Spring, Edward, Archie and Erser Dodson, all of Peola Mills; also 47 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
