Charlie L. Hackley
Charlie Lewis Hackley, 73, of Viewtown died November 18, L9G9 in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. He was a farmer, the son of the late James Jackson Hackley and Dora Alice Priest of Culpeper County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Dodson Hackley; two laughters, Mrs. Walter Ney of College Park, Md. and Mrs. Betty Baldwin of Viewtown; a son, Charles H. Hackley of Fairfax; six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nannie H. Weaver of Culpeper and Mrs. Julia Estes of Castleton; four brothers, Johnie J. Hackley, Viewtown, Willie T. and George W. Hackley, both Amissville and Howard Lee Hackley of Woodstock.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Amissville Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Kindred and the Rev. John Hodge officiating. Intement will be in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
