Ronald Foss of Springfield, Va. operating a 63 Buick struck Roy Albert Swindler of Sperryville driving his 64 Chevrolet pickup. The two met on a sharp curve and grade and collided. Foss was charged with failing to drive to the right of the center of the road. Dan Menefee of Woodville, a passenger in the pickup, sustained a laceration of the lower lip. Trooper W. A. Buntin investigated the three crashes.

Prize Winners

Prizes awarded at the close of the Chester Gap carnival Saturday night were as follows: first, $400 cash to Doris Wells of Warrenton; $75 cash to Mrs. Lucy Foster, Flint Hill; $25 cash to Leonard Campbell, Washington, Va. The Chester Gap fire company reported the most successful carnival to date and extended appreciation to all who helped or attended. Garden Club Meet*
