Train With Oxygen
Members of the Rescue Squad of Sperryville attended a special session on the administration of oxygen to patients with acute breathing problems on Monday, July 6, at Sperryville Fire Hall.
David B. Groff, ARIT of the Inhalation Therapy Department
the Winchester Memorial Hospital, explained the difference in giving oxygen to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and those suffering from | heart failure. He lectured on uses and demonstrated various types of equipment.
The program was sponsored by the Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease Association of Northern Virginia.
The Rescue Squad endeavors to constantly increase the proficiency of its organization through all available training courses, to better serve the people in the community.
