Castleton firemen opened their benefit carnival last night and it will continue through Saturday night. Men were busy Thesday night fixing stands and assembling rides. Among those at work were William Compton, Billy Compton, Earl Jenkins, Dennis Settle and Ray Scott. While the men worked outside the ladies were in the kitchen busy with food preparations. Among the good food to be found there is barbecue, ham sandwiches, hot dogs, coffee and drinks.
