Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and her sister Mrs. John Valentine of Cranford, N.J. left Saturday by plane for a three week’s visit with Mrs. Quaintance’s son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer in Bruckenau, West Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Payne of Alexandria were among the guests last weekend of Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Clatterbuck were erroneously i given as guests.'

Holds Ladies Night
The members of Washington Lodge No. 78 A.F.&A.M. held Ladies Night on June 27 with a dinner meeting at the Hampton Inn. Rt.Wor. Ralph Rowzie, Chaplain, gave the invocation. After the dinner the speaker of the evening, Rt. Wor. Perry D. Mowbray from Richmond, was introduced. His address was on the significance of St. John, The Baptist in Masonic teachings.
