A report on the unseasonably hot weather which we have experienced in September shows that September had 11 days on which the temperature rose above 90 degrees and 23 days above 80 degrees. That month almost equalled August which had 11 days also of above 90 temperatures and 28 days over 80 degrees.
Statistics for July showed 10 days in excess of 90 degrees and 27 days over 80 degrees. May and June had 3 and 4 days^over 90 and 18 and 22 days over 80, respectively. September rainfall' totaled .92 inch, this year. In 1951 the total was .50 and in 1961 it was .81; these are the lowest three years since 1945 for September precipitation..
