Mrs. Mamie Wines
Mrs. Mamie Catherine Wines, 62, of Chester Gap, died September 29, 1970 in Warren Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Warren County, a daughter of the late John and Mary Bell Henry.
She is survived by her husband, Elias Wines; four sons, Fored Lee Haun and Guy Haun of Baltimore; Waldo Wines of Chester Gap; Ray Wines of Woodbridge; eight daughters, Mrs. Mazie Williams, Mrs. Hazel Williams, Mrs. Helen Seal, Mrs. Rachel Williams, Mrs. May Engle, all of Chester Gap, Mrs. Daisy Jones of Flint Hill, Mrs. Virgie Ubben and Mrs. Marlene Wines of Front Royal; two brothers, Moses Henry and Howard Henry of Baltimore, Md.; and two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Bowers and Mrs. Betty West of Front Royal; 38 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday at 2 o’clock in the Chester Gap Baptist Church, conducted
