L. V. Merrill la In Fauquier

Merrill la In Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton for treatment of a broken hip sustained in a foil Thursday night at his home. He had previously been treated there for broken ribs received in an automobile accident last week at Dumfries.

Sunday overnight guests of Mrs. W. C^Campbell at Twinland were Mrs. A. R. Gray of Wilkes Bahe, N. C., and Miss Minnie Jones of Fork Union.

John Quaintance and Atlqn Flanders have recently mfljVed into the trailer home owned by Mm. B. M. Miller of Gay Street.

Gabe Burke is a patient in the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville where he is visited daily by members of his family.

Mr. and Mrs. Desha Lucas and Miss Judith Lucas of Norfolk and Joe Lucas of Chicago were Saturday afternoon visitors of Judge and Mrs. W. F. Moffett. Judge and Mrs. Moffett spent Sunday «as guests of Mrs. Moffett’s parents and brother the Rev. and Mrs. C. E. Buxton and Edward Buxton in Springfield.

Sunday afternoon visitors of Miss Lucy Estes and Mrs. Mamie Wrenn were Mrs. Edwin Pearson and her aunt, Mrs. Jim Pearson and Miss Mary Diane Pearson of Vienna. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Campbell of Luray were Sunday supper guests of Mrs. B. M. Miller. Mrs. Kent Woolfolk of Louisa spent from Friday until Monday with her sister, Miss Irene Keyser. Among those in Williamsburg this weekend to attend the Edmonds-Duke wedding were Miss Mary Miller Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Eastham,. sons, Fletcher and Lindsay, and Mr. apd Mrs. Richard Latham. Following the ceremony a buffet supper was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Keyser, Jr. Mrs. W. F. Fletcher accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Faulconer of Orange to the Waterford Festival Saturday at Waterford. Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones were Mrs. Jones'
