Panther Tales

Successful is a good word to describe the Senior Ring Dance. Many of the students came out and supported the Senior Class to make this one of the best dances ever. This just shows what a little work and a lot of students can do when they try.
An assembly was held Monday called Musical Moments. It was presented by the Sturgills. Many different types of stringed instruments were used such as the lute and match stick violin. Several of the students participated in this assembly.
The Annual staff held a meeting Monday to discuss more about the year book. They are now in the process of selling patron ads, so be sure to support them.
The Magazin&Campaign got off to a flying start Monday. Susan Baldwin was the highest salesman, won $5.00 and got the Mascot LOVE. Martha Lou O’Bannon also won a season’s basketball ticket. We intend to meet the goal of $2000 this year. Oh, by the way Sophomores, I heard a Freshman say that his class could "onsell yours!
Correction
The cut lines under one of the 4-H Club pictures published last week were incomplete and should have read thus: In the sixth grade 4-H club, Donna Gammon was named to the presidency while Faye Carter received the seat of vice president; Peggy Pullen was named secretary; Mary Jordan is the song leader and Patricia Robinson was elected reporter. We regret the list which we received was not complete.
