Mrs. C. M. M. Green

A funeral service for Mrs. Grace Virginia Green of Amissville, widow of Charles Marshall McGee Green, was held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the graveside in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton. The Rev. W. A. Layman conducted the service.

Mrs. Green, 70, died September 30, 1970 at Mountain View Nursing Home at Aroda, following a long illness. She was a native of Rappahannock County.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Britton of Morgantown, W. Va., and Mrs. D. D. Miller, Jr. of Fairfax; two sons, Charles Mitchell Green of Amissville and James Edwin Green of Arlington; and eight grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John Tapp, Graham Hackley, Stanish Riley, Elmer Jenkins, Aubrey Curtis, E. L. Weakley, Lloyd By waters and Charlie Compton.

Geest Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
